Stress believed to suppress fertility HARARE,  Zimbabwe (August 2006)––Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force founder Johnny Rodrigues and Presidential Elephant Conservation Project researcher Sharon Pincott contend that the stress associated with gunfire has actually suppressed elephant fecundity.
