Showing Animals Respect & Kindness exposed cruelty involving all three

Entertainers Troy Lee Gentry, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have all signed on to play at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo on July 23, 2015.

In an online video, posted at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqFicQJV7B0, SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness has exposed the cruel acts by these entertainers.

Gentry was convicted in federal court after killing an old, sick bear in a staged “hunt.” The video chronicles how Gentry paid an animal owner $5,000 to put “Cubby,” a tame black bear, in a fenced area, then killed him with two arrows to his lungs and then watched “Cubby” slowly drown to death in his own blood.

Gentry claimed the hunt was legitimate on his own video. But Fish and Wildlife wasn’t fooled. Gentry pleaded guilty to the sham killing, was fined $15,000, and was placed on probation. SHARK obtained the video of the killing from government sources and made it public.

SHARK has also exposed a video that shows Lambert killing a baby alligator “just for the fun of it…for pleasure.” Shelton later tweeted that he intentionally hit a turtle on the road.

SHARK has documented and exposed rodeos across the United States for decades. The Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo is the most cruel and deadly rodeo in the world, as we document at www.ShameOnCheyenne.com Every year, horses, calves, steers and bulls are brutalized at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. Some of those animals are injured. Some are killed.

If there is to be in abusive spectacle like the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, it just follows that the entertainers for that spectacle would be cruel people like Troy Gentry, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.
