I prefer authentic Mexican white or yellow corn tortillas, cilantro and fresh lime to create the most authentic Mexican tacos.
Chopped veggies such as lettuce, tomatoes, onions or any other vegetables to your liking may be used for the taco filling. Soy-based Morningstar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles are used as the protein component of the filling. The Crumbles can be mixed with salsa or spices to taste and then topped with vegan cheese shreds and cilantro.
Fresh lime is sliced and used as a garnish and squeezed over the tacos.
Refried beans, fresh chopped Jalapenos may also be added to the tacos for a very tasty and healthy meal for everyone, whether vegan or not.
